What makes Chitlang Village worth the journey
Chitlang sits just over the Chandragiri ridge in Makwanpur district, on the old trade route that carried goods into the Kathmandu Valley long before the highway existed. It is a working farming village rather than a resort: mustard fields, organic farms, an old Newari settlement, and Nepal's first goat cheese dairy. Most visitors come for a night or two of homestay and quiet.
