The journey
Overview
Few treks change scenery as dramatically as the Annapurna Circuit. You start among subtropical rice terraces, climb through pine and juniper into the Tibetan-influenced villages of Manang, cross Thorong La at 5,416 m, and descend into the arid Mustang side of the range. We build in proper acclimatisation days and stay in handpicked lodges rather than whichever teahouse comes next.
