The journey
Overview
Real mountain trekking without the multi-week commitment. Two walking days take you up stone paths through rhododendron forest and terraced paddy to Ghandruk, a large Gurung village of slate-roofed stone houses looking straight at Annapurna South and Machapuchare. You are back beside Phewa Lake in time for dinner on day four.
